I heard Joe Biden saying he spoke with the three main American car manufacturers at the beginning of his term. He claimed they all agreed to make 50% of their entire fleet electric by 2030 and 100% electric by 2050. Of course, I recognize this is a politician speaking (what does it mean when a politician's lips are moving?), and US Presidents only last 4 to 8 years unless your last name is Roosevelt.
