Greenway got hit for a $3,350 gap. What's yours?

The FTC settled with Greenway Auto Group last week. Buyers paid over $3,350 above the advertised price on average, in over 92% of deals. Admin, dealer, delivery and processing fees.

What worries me more: a lot of your advertised prices aren't on your website. They're Marketplace posts a rep put up three weeks ago and forgot about. In our data, 22.6% of dealer listings changed price after going live.

Quick litmus test if you post on Marketplace: pull 10 of your Marketplace listings. Listed price vs. what your desk would quote out the door today. What's your biggest gap?

That's why I prefer AIAs over marketplace listings. Direct pull from the website, accurate pricing, and goes away when something sells. Less risk, same reward.
