Ok DealerRefresher's, I need your input....
The past couple of months I've been asking Car Peeps from across the country to take a quick 5 minute survey about their dealership's blog.
So far the results have been intriguing and I wanted to share some data with you and get your thoughts.
In the survey I ask what the #1 challenge is when it comes to your dealership's blog (check all that apply):
Interestingly enough, all the respondents answered some combination of: Limited Time/Resources, Management/Ownership doesn't see value of blogging and/or Don't know how to measure its success.
No one has selected It's often complicated, Don't know what to write about or Not sure how to build a blog platform.
This suggests to me that of those who responded see the value in creating unique and original blog content, the benefits of doing so and have a good idea of how to go about it. What they're lacking is resources and being able to measure its success to get Management buy-in to increase their efforts.
I'd love to get your input as well. I'll be using the data I collect in my presentation at the DrivingSales Executive Summit this October.
