I have been in talks with MsgWorx over the last few months. Actually we had them in when I was at my "previous" position Dan.
I think the concept is good but the same effect overall can be accomplished using a cheaper service or combination of your video service provider and service email marketing provider. These campaign are no joke on the production and delivery side - cost. They do offer some robust reporting, but reporting most dealers would not have the resources to react upon.
I think if you have nothing at all in place for online service marketing it's easy to place something like this in process and see some nice lift in service business. But if you have something fairly strong in place already - I would doubt you would see such a lift. Thing is, most dealers ignore their online service marketing and have nowhere to go but up.
A dealer asks for feedback on a video marketing program (likely from MsgWorx) designed to drive service business through online campaigns. A respondent acknowledges the concept has merit but argues that similar results can be achieved more cost-effectively through cheaper alternatives or existing service providers, and notes the program's value depends heavily on whether a dealer already has online service marketing infrastructure in place.
