The BDC Manager/ Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all facets of our internal team of appointment setters (Internet Sales Coordinators) whose primary role is to contact and consult individuals looking to buy a new or used car who have submitted inbound internet leads, inbound phone calls, and website chat requests, and setting sales appointment for our in-store sales teams. A successful BDC Manager recognizes the marketplace dynamics and understands the need for team members to immediately respond to and diligently following up with these hot prospects.
BDC MANAGER’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Ensuring team members respond to internet sales inquiries in a timely fashion and answer questions about available vehicles with the purpose of scheduling appointments with interested buyers for test drives and seamlessly handing off prospects to in-store sales teams
· Utilize the Company’s CRM and associated phone, email and text tools to effectively communicate and follow up with prospects and customers and report results to the management team
· Ongoing recruitment and hiring of Internet Sales Coordinators
· Ensure exceptional customer experience
· Motivate team to reach pre-determined new business sales objectives and key performance indicators including, daily calls, emails, qualified conversations, and appointments
· Work with COO to develop and execute on-boarding plan and training strategy for new business hires
· Reach and exceed defined monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience managing inside sales teams in a high volume
· Proven experience meeting/ exceeding sales team goals
· Must have positive attitude and team mentality
· Experience in Automotive Field NOT required
· Must pass drug screen and background check.
