"Major Website Provider" Cookie Dropping service??

It has taken a little while to gather all the information I needed to make a decision on this. With that said I will be "pulling the trigger" in December. Display advertising with behavioral targeting/retargeting can be pricey. However, I believe this is where the trend will be as companies continue to reallocate their marketing dollars. I will keep the forum updated on the progress/effectiveness of the campaign.

Alex, if you need any help or want to bounce a few ideas..you have my number.

Jeff is right, this is just retargeting. They may be the only automotive exclusive company, but we do that all the time at Cuneo as well with dozens of automotive specific networks, and hundreds of more general on CPM and CPC basis.

In certain niche areas CPA/CPL may be available as well but 99% of the time automotive is too expensive for that to be quantified.

http://www.FetchBack.com is a retargeting company that I have been using for a few years now at the dealership level. Great product, good results (set up your campaign right), and low cost. Campaigns start at only $500/month - and you get a dedicated rep - my rep is:

Who I am sure will answer any questions.

I am new here and I saw this post and instantly thought of Fetchback... I studied quite a few remarketing companies and they were the only company that I actually saw ads for when I was using the internet...

I know this is an old thread. But, is everyone aware that Google has launched in the AdWords platform a retargeting program (came out late-March). I just set-it up for a couple dealers adwords accounts. Pretty slick. I have seperate service and sales campaigns.

Running 90 days to see results.

Dealers discuss a "cookie dropping" retargeting service pitched by Cobalt ($1,400/month) that follows website visitors across the internet with targeted ads for 60 days, with participants clarifying this is standard behavioral retargeting (not proprietary) already offered by Fortune 500 companies and available through cheaper alternatives like FetchBack ($500/month). The key insight is that while retargeting is legitimate and effective marketing when properly geo-targeted, dealers should shop around rather than pay premium prices to a single website provider, and should carefully calculate ROI before committing to these services.
