manheim listed a tesla as a long range model (AS IS) when I received it, found out its Standard range. they clearly stated the car and anounced it as Long Range.
This definitely does not fall under the ASIS rule cause it is clear Misrepresentation of the model of the car. you can not claim a Mercedes for instance is AMG and sell it to me for twice the price of non AMG and call it as is no arbitration. there is a $4000 price differnce. cause they have control over the industry they refuse to compensate or Arbitrate. I thought the Term sleazy used car dealer was exaggerated and always conducted business with full honesty and never had a complaint against my company. what Manheim Auctions did in this as sleazy as it gets.I searched online and there was a comany that sued them and they ended up terminating their access to the auction in retaliation.
any feedback on this issue would be highly appreciated. i don;t care about teh $4k but I do about the principle. I've done business with them for 35 years and never had thos happen. It probably is an honest and careless mistake on there end, but it is their mistake and they should own up to it, however it seems arbitration is run by sleazy ppl.
