To be a good fit for this opportunity, you should have (but don't need) a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a background in outside sales and account management within the automotive industry, and technical savvy including the MS Office Suite and Goldmine (or similar). You must also be willing to travel throughout the territory, which includes all of Mass/ Connecticut.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and aggressively grow sales in designated geography through prospecting, cold calls and relationship development.
Upsell customers with new products and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through effective account management and customer service.
Proactively market to customers in territory and convey the advantages of our company.
Manage and grow the effective retail rates.
Manage and monitor all contracts, as well as accounts receivable.
Live in market area while working out of home office. Candidates will work from home and be responsible for attaining specific revenue and account base goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of commissioned sales experience PREFERRED.
Ability to present and write thoughts effectively.
Ability to convince listener of ideas. Able to adjust the message to match the audience.
A willingness and aptitude to learn; willing to seek assistance and technical expertise when needed.
Entrepreneurial: ability to identify and close new business
Displays authority and self-assurance when presenting to and negotiating with customers.
Proven track record in building and sustaining key business relationships
Proven success in attaining set goals.
Ability to generate sales opportunities that leverage the organization with existing customers.
Adaptable and flexible in a changing market and work environment.
Exhibits high energy and passion for role, organization and product.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Outlook
Must live in market.
