How do you all feel about the security of your phone? I just picked up a Motorola Droid last week and was amazed at some of the access that needs to be permitted for many of the APPS. I know lots of people that just download app after app, I think this could lead to trouble down the line.


Not only that, apparently some guy has cracked GSM!

Something I never really thought about with my blackberry, but as smartphones continue to grow in popularity here in the states...I'm positive we will eventually have to purchase Norton and McAfee mobile.

Be more wary about the open Android marketplace. It basically lets anything through.

Im more careful now than I was the first day when I went APP crazy! Ive removed most the trash, and pay a lot of attention to what the APP being installed will have access to.
