Renting to own

Hello all, I do not know if this is the proper place to post this question...but does anyone have any information or has anyone started a "rent to own" program at their dealerships and if so, can you point me in the right direction?

Isn't that basically what a term loan/lease is?
How would a "rent to own service" be different?

Several dealers/groups and manufacturers have tried different types of financing/leasing programs, but most have come up short and are no longer providing the services.

In the land of the subprime, it's easier to go this route IMO.

Our family dealership has done this for years.
Large book of RTOs, all held by the dealership.
