This is a very interesting conversation and unfortunately I am limited on time, but felt the need to respond.
Human nature will never change.
People usually do not 'NEED a car', they 'WANT a car'. so they will always justify with logic the emotional reason for a vehicle ....... enter The Car Salesman !
