As Jason said there are alot of factors. I begin to look for problems and issues if a bounce rate is above 25% for overall average. Specific campaigns will throw that once in a while. As for CPC, I aim to keep that at 20% or lower preferably around 15% If you have a high bounce rate on your CPC advertising you either need to focus the message, or create a better landing page.
Link your Adwords and Analytics accounts and you will have more information than you know what to do with!
In Google Analytics you can go to Traffic Sources > Sources > All Traffic and get a quick rundown of all Sources/Mediums, - Visits - Pages/Visit - Avg Visit Duration - % New Visits - Bounce Rate
You can also select Traffic Sources > Sources > Search > Paid to filter those out as well.
Every area and market will differ and effect these numbers. Your best bet is to weigh each source against the overall average to gauge how it is performing.
