Dont avoid craigslist just because of this article. I do adwords on the side and i get majority of my business from craigslist. I also advertise, buy, sell, and trade on craigslist. Hell even my dog was free off craigslist.

Craigslist can, yes, be a dangerous place to then inexperienced user, but if you know how to use it correctly, then its a tool that can be pretty powerful.

This is just one experience of how someone got duped, how about the millions of others who have used it for good?

If you're going to hire someone off there, treat it as if you were hiring any other vendor. DO YOUR RESEARCH!
