Text messaging should be opt-in. EVERY major cell phone provider in the country will NOT turn off text messaging if their customer doesn't want it. Whenever I get a text message from someone who doesn't know I don't use the service I get charged $.50 and it really kills me every time.So yeah, in my case I'd prefer the phone call.
