I recently came across a topic in r/AskReddit that I thought the community here at Refresh might find interesting.

Car salesmen of reddit, what kind of shady shit goes on with used/new cars we may not know about? : AskReddit

I did not go through all 2600+ responses, but here are some simple observations:

1. This is certainly worth a glance if for no other reason than it provides a unique view into the consumer mindset. You probably can't afford this kind of focus group.

2. The presupposition is that there is "shady shit" going on in the industry despite the fact that the automotive industry has been drug over the coals on its way to transparency in the internet era. That presupposition is reinforced by 2600+ comments!

4. As tired as we are of the buzzword "Reputation Management," and I am tired of it's misuse believe me, "Real Reputation Management" still commands our attention.

Hope you all enjoy some light reading on your way into the weekend.
