Position Summary:

The Manager, Automotive Remarketing will join a team dedicated to working with new and existing partners to market the SiriusXM service to buyers of pre-owned vehicles installed with satellite radios. Individual will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of programs focusing on the automotive private party transaction channel (consumer to consumer transaction channels). He/she will report to the VP Automotive Remarketing Division. The position may be based out of one of the following office locations: Farmington Hills, MI, New York, NY, or Washington DC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow Automotive Remarketing subscriber base by developing and implementing programs aimed at facilitating SiriusXM’s ability to provide purchasers of pre-owned vehicles with a compelling trial of the SiriusXM service, in the private party transaction channel
  • Oversee Company’s relationships with private party transaction aggregators, listing sites, related groups and associations
  • Guide the implementation of operational capabilities to facilitate the automated provisioning of service trials to customers purchasing vehicles through this channel.
  • Partner with Automotive Remarketing team members to create and implement program elements necessary to drive subscriber growth (incl. marketing/promotions)
  • Collaborate with other key functions in the Company, including CRM, Automotive Partnership/Marketing, Finance and IT
  • Negotiate contracts with 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party vendors
  • Create and update marketing presentations and proposals
  • Analyze marketing trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Manage programs to meet budgeted subscriber and financial targets
  • Organize and track initiatives and provide appropriate status reports/updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; preference for degree in marketing (or related subject); MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 2years of business development, marketing, or sales experience in a mid/large corporate environment; prefer industry experience in automotive or automotive-related business; prefer direct experience developing and implementing marketing programs targeting on-line automotive sales sites

  • Excellent written communication skills with strong spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills
  • Demonstrated strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient with the MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Adept at using one or more contact sales management tools
