Curious what current strategies dealers are using to source used car inventory competitively. What I've seen from specialty dealers has ranged from software like Swoopa to paying people to scour facebook and enthusiast forum classifieds.

Some popular ones from recent conversations:
- Swoopa
- Bidbus
- Vettx
- Spotter
- FB form ads
- Brokers for leads
- Existing acquisition team searching FB
- Private deal groups (usually whatsapp)
- Run their own fb groups for people to share deals

I understand that these strategies vary per target demographic of car and some may not want to share their secret sauce for sourcing the best deals.

We used VAN for a while but the leads were awful and for the amount we had to pay a month wasn't worth it. We've been Directly contacting on marketplace, offer up, etc... But if anyone has better sourcing methods let me know!
