Hey guys,

Need some advice with my websites testimonial pages...

We primarily have 3 different types of testimonials:

1. Video
2. DealerRater ones
3. Hand written letters from our customers

Should I...

1. Have 3 different navigation links on our website for each type of testimonial

2. Have 1 main Testimonials link where people can then choose whether they'd want to view video testimonials, dealerater testimonials, or written testimonials

3. Or have all testimonails on one page but grouped into different sections

If you choose 3, DealerRater only lists the 10 most recent positive reviews, but how many of the most recent testimonial video testimonials and written testimonials would you keep on the site? Obviously some really good ones we'll want to keep up for a longer period of time, but as a rule what would you recommend?

If you're already in there adding videos and letter testimonials I would manually update all 3. Having all three testimonial types lends even more credibility to the page and your dealership. I think you need to give each some type of graphical treatment and list them chronologically - that could look and work very well!

Be sure to treat this page(s) like a landing page. I would include call to actions to your inventory, credit application etc. This would also be a great page to ask the consumer to join you on Facebook. My point being; use this page for more than your testimonials. Consumers seeking out these pages are looking for trust and could possibly make a decision to do business with you at that moment - use this opportunity to point them in the right direction.

Jeff, very good point. I like the idea of taking the standard boring old testimonial and bringing new life to it.
