The Pink Cadillac Strategy - Salesperson Websites

Lastly, This is a great model if it's on the dealers VDP and you let your shopper choose their rep. I had it on my old site 5-6 yrs ago and I am a BIG proponent of it today, not for prospecting, but for return shoppers, referrals and be-backs.

Ahh way ahead of you :) ...this isn't just a salesperson website off on its own island disconnected from the main website, it is deeply integrated throughout.

When a customer schedules an appointment, on a VDP, etc they can select which salesperson they would like to work with as seen below in the appt example:

And throughout the site it features the staff and allows customers to contact them directly and visit their personal salesperson site:

Tie all of this together and you have a completely integrated system that gives the customer a satisfying online experience where they feel in control and more at ease in visiting or returning to your dealership. Why use a third party for a less integrated and lackluster solution, when we can create an entirely comprehensive solution across all departments and rooftops? Best part is you can still bring most of these third party reviews in through their api. As a customer if I was choosing between two dealers and one offered all of this functionality online, I know which dealer I would be most comfortable with visiting and in turn buying a car from. Same tactic is also used in the fixed ops department with advisors and techs. Blue ocean strategy at work.
