In less then 5 hours, Google has indexed my last posting "Should dealers be blogging?”. As I mentioned in the posting right before; "Why are the vendors and consultants possible hypocrites?”, DealerRefresh is growing and rocking in the search engines.

I currently have a PR (Page Rank) of 4 Oops, I guess google made some changes because it dropped to a 3> and I feel a PR of 5 <4> is in the near horizon. I know that Page Rank is not the single most important factor for SEO but with all the other elements this blog possess on top of the PR, it’s only a matter of time before DealerRefresh owns the Search engines for such a targeted audiences. Just another reason why vendors and ISM’s
should be participating with comments and feedback.

Well done Jeff and congratulations on the blog.

I have been reading your blog since we first chatted about a year and half ago (I think it was that long). Congratulations on having the perservance to stick with this. Blogging is difficult, you don't always know someone is there but people are in fact reading, they just don't comment most of the time ;-)

All the best,
Brian

That is true. Readers often do not comment. I see more site visits than comments on my own.

Funny that you mentioned it took Google less than 5 hours to index a post. Do you use Google Alerts? I have seen posts picked up by that within minutes. That doesn't necessarily indicate the site is indexed, though.

I recommend your site to fellow Internet Managers as one of the best resources available to assist in resolving their ongoing dealership, technical, and customer issues. First by word of mouth and then following up by email with the link.

If not learning something new with every visit, I get constant "refreshers" on what I can be doing better as well.

Thank you Jeff for taking your personal time to keep this awesome site updated so well; for all of us to benefit!

Jeff Larsen actually referred me to this site. Im new to being and ISM and well I will take all the advice I can get. I would love to hear more about what it takes to succeed as an ISM. I will be on the site more and more and am interested in hearing anyone's feedback. I'm in a smaller demographic in northeastern Iowa and with a population of around 100k in the surrounding area. Interested in advice I can get.
