"You guys are THE SH!T!"

That's completly wrong. How did you ever find that?
I look at A LOT of Place pages, and for some reason this sh!t just jumped out at me ;)

I really hope this helps some folks to see the why behind the great recommendations that get made by this community. This dealer is at DEFCON 4 right now trying to get this removed/replaced and it was avoidable.

If just one dealer uploads some pics to their Place Page today because they fear some fool HANDLING a huge turd showing up on their page, then the risk of being DR's first recipient of the "shittiest post of the week" award on my DR profile will have been well worth it.

Well, it took nearly a year, but I finally found a legitimate reason to bump this post.

Keep an eye on the photos that are uploaded to your + page... if it can happen to Google it WILL happen to you!

A dealer's Google Place Page was compromised with an inappropriate image, prompting a discussion about the importance of actively managing and uploading quality photos to prevent such exploits. The thread emphasizes that dealers who neglect their Place Pages leave them vulnerable to having offensive or damaging content uploaded by bad actors, making proactive photo management a crucial defensive strategy for online reputation. The key takeaway is that maintaining an active, well-populated photo presence on Google Local listings is both a best practice for SEO/marketing and a necessary safeguard against vandalism.
