What are the highest paying jobs in the automotive industry?

And if you know any automotive jobs that will allow me to drive/observe a variety of different cars please tell me.

Have you considered being a porter or maybe a data collector for a 3rd party? You'll be able to "observe a variety of different cars" for sure.

Unfortunately the first part of your question isn't likely to align well with the second part. If you go for top pay and cushy benefits, I'm pretty sure it's the HookLogic and Dealer.com Top Brass. That's what I've heard anyway ;)

✨ AI Highlights

A member asks about the highest-paying jobs in automotive that involve driving or observing different cars, prompting responses ranging from Formula One drivers and lawyers to software service providers like ADP and Dealer.com executives. The thread suggests that top compensation typically comes from vendor/software company leadership roles rather than traditional automotive positions, and that pursuing high pay and car exposure simultaneously may require compromising on one goal. Most responses are either humorous or acknowledge the tension between earning top dollars and getting hands-on experience with vehicles.
