DrivingSales.com is offline - is it officially dead?

It may have happened a long time ago, but someone pointed it out yesterday. Has anyone spoken to Jared lately? Is DrivingSales gone forever?
DSES was my favorite conference back in the day. It always felt like a more advanced, elevated version of Digital Dealer, which Pasch's events have since done a good job of filling that void.

Was planning on attending DSES 2023 but they "postponed" it last minute and I've been waiting to hear the new date ever since :2quiet:

Dear Dealers,

Several weeks ago, we were notified of a conflict many of our key dealer partners were having due to important OEM meetings. As the situation progressed, the conflicting dates made it so our dealer partners were forced to choose between events. Not wanting to compromise the quality of the DSES experience, we have decided to postpone the event.
This was a very difficult decision and we apologize for the inconvenience. After looking at every possible solution, we ultimately decided it would be best to reschedule the event. We are issuing refunds to all registrants and sponsors and are working hard to finalize plans for the future.

Please continue to check back for more information.

Last I heard was Jared had moved back to the dealer side. Checked the site sometime last year out of curiosity and it was already offline then — so not totally surprising, just sad to see confirmed. DSES had a different energy from the standard conference circuit. Less vendor showcase, more practitioner-driven. Hard to replicate once that momentum goes.

DealerRefresh has quietly absorbed most of that gravity anyway.

Someone should SNAG that URL!

Ahhhh the good'ol days of #DSES. I agree @Ryan Everson it was one of the better conferences. Me and @ryan.leslie presented together at a few of them back in the day.

I used to follow Jarred on FB, but I don't get on much anymore.
I've had the pleasure of presenting with a bunch of awesome people over the years, but what you and I did at DSES will always stand out to me. We had Facebook presenting on one side of us and I believe it was Google on the other. I remember thinking that half of the people in our room just walked in the wrong door. Shoot, maybe we benefitted from the overflow.

Such a good time preparing and delivering that material with you @Jeff Kershner, especially the donkeys slide. ;)

Ha!! I almost forget about the donkeys slide. I do remember the packed room though. Good Times.
