Hi,

This is my first post here.. I've been lurking for a few years now learning lots. Full disclosure: I work for Edmunds.com in the Indianapolis area.

I came across a local company here while talking with a dealer about SEM. He showed me this product and it seemed a little black hat to me.. what do you guys/girls think?

I believe they charge a couple thousand to own the keyword.

Run quickly in the other direction. Looking at their video it appears they are installing software on to people's computers that will dynamically inject ads into the browser. This is the spyware/crapware that people unknowingly install onto their computers and desperately want to remove.

✨ AI Highlights

A dealer showed RyanK (an Edmunds employee) a local SEM tool that charges dealers thousands to "own" keywords, but the community consensus quickly identified it as spyware that covertly injects ads into users' browsers—a black-hat practice everyone strongly advises against. The thread offers unanimous agreement that this product is deceptive and harmful, with comparisons to unwanted crapware and unethical advertising tactics.
