I know this is an old thread, but I felt compelled to answer.

When I worked at Google Canada, I spoke a lot about Brantford Kia in Brantford, Ontario.

They currently have over 150K subscribers (which is larger than the population of Brantford).

They turned their old tire storage bay into a branded studio to do walk-around videos of cars during COVID.

And they've successfully monetized their channel.

✨ AI Highlights

A DealerRefresh member solicited examples of dealerships with strong YouTube presences, prompting responses that highlighted several successful channels including Oak Lawn Toyota, Monaco Ford, Checkered Flag, and notably Brantford Kia, which has grown to over 150K subscribers. The thread reveals that dealerships experimenting with YouTube content—from simple walk-around videos to professionally-produced material—can build genuine audiences and even monetize their channels, though quality varies across dealers' efforts. The key insight is that YouTube represents an underutilized but viable marketing and revenue opportunity for dealerships willing to invest in consistent, quality content creation.
