The ADP CASH Discovery Program Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for completing targeted outbound phone-based sales calls to achieve specific monthly-targeted revenue generation from current customers. This position requires high-volume outbound phone calls, exceptional organization skills, good communication skills and consultative selling skills to maximize customer satisfaction with our products and services. The CDP Sales Specialist is expected to manage time sensitive call campaigns, report sales activity and process all associated paperwork in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. This position is a professional inside sales position that is territory and quota driven with a base salary and uncapped commission earnings (it is not entry level, telemarketing, lead generation or simple appointment setting)

KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

· Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook as well as Internet applications in general.
· Previous experience/exposure to Salesforce.com preferred, but not required.
· Excellent written (email and traditional), verbal (phone and direct) and presentation skills with emphasis on proposals and contracts, client correspondence and sales activity reporting.
· Ability to make smart business decisions quickly and efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment.
· Relationship management and protocols of dealing with customers.
· Ability to work well in a team-selling environment while presenting a professional phone demeanor.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

· Meet or exceed revenue and call activity quotas through a minimum of two hours of daily outbound phone calls to current and past ADP CDP customers.
· Track relevant sales activity using existing client databases (including calls, prospect pipeline, account notes, etc.)
· Efficiently manage time against call campaign and revenue goals.
· Project independent, highly motivated, and success driven approach to personal as well as team responsibilities and goals.
· Interact comfortably with mid-level and senior management.

Secondary Functions:

· Provide customer feedback to management about product reception and desired features.

PREVIOUS SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

· College degree preferred, but not required.
· Two or more years of progressively responsible business experience in a sales or customer service role
· Proven high volume, outbound phone based sales experience is desirable
· Demonstrable phone-based selling skills and superior customer service skills are a requirement.
· Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
· Superior oral and written communication skills are required (grammar, spelling, professional presentation).
· Ability to work comfortably in an ongoing, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Duties are performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk and include a minimum of three hours of daily outbound phone call activity to current and past customers. Normal working hours are 8:30 am until 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday; duties rarely require work outside of normal working hours. ADP CDP sales representatives are expected to be well groomed and dress appropriately (business casual) during working hours.
