Most of us have taken a good close look at a lot more cars than the average person. What's the best or the worst thing you've seen a customer do to their car? And isn't it amazing how they always think it adds value to the trade?

I'll start off with this high quality repair I found last night on my favorite NYC Blog, EV Grieve.

What can be said about this?

It reminds me of our favorite chinese gal Ling.com.

If you can see past the visual freak show, I see a kid with no cash and a lot of passion built this mess from with stuff he found in his garage. There are hours and hours of thought and time in that cesspool.

Back in the day I use to own 2 giant automotive custom shops. I'd look at that pic and smile, throw that kid out back, pay him entry wages, give him a broom and a rag and tell him to keep the place spotless and assist others when needed. In 6 months I'd know if he had what it took to be an all-star (passion, discipline, creativity work ethic, etc)
