Core Web Vitals Rankings - I spent way too much time on this to rank 1300 websites

Here is a cool website I found looking for dealership citation data, pretty cool. Ranks core web vitals, and shows market share for automotive website providers, and shows when dealers defect from one website provider to another:

Nice!

Can't say I have ran across this website provider before, I will have to take a look and see if our system has picked it up yet.

Last update on our tool functionality until the full report comes out

I added the ability to get the report emailed to yourself along with alert notifications when a change is detected in the scoring

In the very near future it will have the ability to not only recognize these issues but automatically alert providers and work with them to improve it, along with many other triage automations

Further enhancements to our internal tool which have not made it to our public facing tool yet but data will be included in the annual report being published at the end of this year, and provided to each individual website provider along with recommendations on improving script management on websites

Tool management on websites can often be messy and hard to manage but also directly impacts Core Web Vital scores.

What normally happens is this:
Dealer is currently enrolled in a chat tool and trade-in tool
Prices change, new features release and the dealer enrolls in new tools from a different provider
New provider sends request to web provider to install new scripts and that is the end of the story

Support isn't going to look for duplicate scripts or tool installations as they simply don't have the resources to audit this with any level of efficiency - the new vendor isn't beholden to audit the site - and the dealer is none the wiser because the old tool already disappeared from their site

This gets us to the Spiderman meme of everyone pointing in a circle on who should be responsible for it until the dealership swaps website vendors which wipes the slate clean giving solid CWV scores again

But alas we have the technology to solve this problem today whether anyone wants to or not

Per usual my shameless plug to the front end website speed monitoring tool that gives you real time alerts when your speed drops on your website: Dealership Website Performance Monitor | Dealer Data One

✨ AI Highlights

A developer shares a free tool built on two years of daily Google Lighthouse API data that monitors Core Web Vitals for over 5,000 franchise dealerships. The conversation quickly expands into a critical insight: the fastest dealer sites are often heavily client-rendered, meaning they score well on CWV but return almost zero readable content to AI crawlers like GPTBot and ClaudeBot that don't execute JavaScript. The emerging consensus is that dealers and vendors need to audit both CWV performance and no-JS word count, since great Lighthouse scores can mask near-total invisibility to AI-driven research tools.
