The ideal candidate will be able to analyzes consumer credit applications to determine the credit worthiness of applicants.

Determines the risk level based on an evaluation and assessment of the Credit Bureau

and other sources. Negotiates tiers and term and reviews deal structure with dealers.

Develops and maintains a positive business relationship with the dealers, providing

customer service and support to the dealer regarding credit policy and the dealer's

applicants.



Job Functions

 Credit Analyst position assigned to larger/major metro market.

 Evaluates credit applications based on information received from credit bureau reports and various other sources.

 Ensures credit decisions conform to credit guidelines and lending retail authority levels of a Credit Level II analyst, responsible for larger district assignments and major metro areas.

 Processes and decisions credit applications received and presented in LOS, dealer inbound phone calls, escalated dealer calls and initiates outbound dealer calls Develops and maintains business relationships with dealer personnel.

 Interacts with dealers regarding lending decisions based on credit evaluations.

 Negotiates credit decisions tiers and terms on applications, approvals and declines.

 Utilizes scoring and credit analysis to administer a risk-based finance program.

 Maintains positive relationship with support staff and Field Service Managers to resolve credit and finance issues.

 Supports the Field team and Funding Department by solving credit, finance, and compliance issues.

 As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative

Minimum Requirements

 Thorough knowledge of consumer credit analysis and approval process. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills. Good problem solving, written and verbal communication skills

 Minimum of 1.5 years credit buying experience (automotive experience highly preferred). As an NMAC employee, candidate must have rotated through 2 regions as an Analyst I and possess an additional 2 years of NMAC experience preferably in Collections, Funding or Customer Service. External candidates must have a minimum of 3.5 years of professional experience including a minimum of 1.5 years credit analysis.

Bachelor's degree.

 Computer use to look up data or information, to generate/print standard reports or spreadsheets developed by others, or to use computer programs developed by others.

The selected candidate must be able to work up until 10:00p.m. - depending on the region and rotating weekends.
