Warning to Dealerships: Avoid VETTX Software – Ongoing Issues and Unethical Billing Practices

We’ve had a highly disappointing experience with VETTX, and I want to warn other dealers before they fall into the same situation.

Key Issues with VETTX:

  1. System Ineffectiveness: The platform consistently fails to perform as promised. Listings are outdated, and key features such as accurate pricing, dealer/salvage vehicle identification, and proper vehicle data aggregation are unreliable.
  2. Broken Promises: VETTX promised improvements with the release of Version 6, which we patiently waited for. Despite this, none of the major issues have been addressed, leaving the platform practically unusable.
  3. Unethical Billing Practices: Despite acknowledging the system's flaws and pausing our billing temporarily, VETTX is now insisting on charging us $1,150 monthly for a service that does not work. They refuse to cancel our contract, forcing us to pay for an entire year despite multiple attempts to terminate for valid reasons. We’ve been left paying for a system we are no longer using.
  4. Lack of Accountability: VETTX claims that various problems (like inaccurate data and incomplete listings) are not their responsibility, yet they continue to market these as core features. When dealers can't rely on the platform to provide accurate or complete data, it's hard to justify the cost.
Advice to Fellow Dealers:
If you’re considering VETTX, think twice. Their failure to deliver a functional platform, combined with their refusal to cancel contracts or refund payments, makes this a costly and frustrating experience. There are better solutions out there that respect their customers and stand by their products.
