Below is the format we will be using to post the June final results with sales data included. I have added 4 extra fields to enter sales numbers and percentage of sales increase with chat.

(Please note: Because there was no chat service from the previous month, they won’t have the carry over sales they normally would have had. You should see a larger sales percentage increase in July because of carry over leads that are still working).

The final June numbers should be posted on the dealer refresh forum by July 4th. Keep an eye on this thread to see the results :)

I'm considering a chat program for our website and these numbers look great. While the numbers are impressive, I feel that they could be misleading. One thing that hasn't been taken into consideration (unless I missed it somewhere in the 18 pages of conversation) is the number of website leads, in a similar month, generated by the website before chat was available on the site.

It's safe to assume that a chat program will generate leads... but are the majority of these leads new contacts that would not have otherwise been generated? Do website phone call numbers remain steady after adding chat? What about preowned vehicle leads from the inventory?

My point is... If I add chat, am I truly generating ADDITIONAL leads?

Final numbers for June from Toyota of Irving:

I would also like to add that we had a slightly larger average PVR of $1,350 a copy plus an average pack of $450 (new and used) with the chat leads. That's an extra 16k+ in gross! :lol: Also we have some nice service tickets that have resulted from service inqueries...
