Going to NADA - tell me all about it

  • Take an open mind.
  • Be leary of presentations that are only on powerpoints unless they're showing you the future concept.
  • Do not sign any contracts longer than 6 months if you have not looked at the product before the show.

P.S. January and February are GIANT months for vendors. A dealer that signs up early in the year is worth more than a contract that signs up in July because budgeting and projections are done on an annual basis. It isn't a single monthly payment - it is 11 months of them in 2020. Use that to your advantage.

As an FYI, I update that after-show, nightlife event calendar constantly. In fact, just added Lady Antebellum to the list, As a dealership employee, you should have no problem getting into any of the parties as long as you RSVP - oh, and the Joe, Arnold & Shaun Karaokethon is always a great time! (I am biased about that party though.) :) https://storytailer.com/nada-show-2020-party-event-calendar/

That's awesome! I will definitely be at Karaoke making a fool of myself! If you see a chick with whiskey in her hand trying to belt out some Kelly Clarkson that's probably me LOL. Seriously though, I will bookmark that page for sure!
