Google Social Search? Really!

So now social media marketing is more important than ever with search engines pushing to show results from the post. Whats this mean and how can it be used and what in the world am I talking about. Well this afternoon google decided to put in the google labs section a little something to check out Google Social Search Goes Live.

So it's not just about building friends or posting and making it interactive....it's also about keywords and relative content that will now help drive more traffic to your social space.

It mentions the friend feature but they are also toying with indexing social post in with the other links to sites.

Pretty cool and I thought I would share it.

All you have to do it copy and paste the URL string (not the embed code) to the video into the comment.

I'm trying to find it in search results - any idea on how to turn it on? Google already has all of my SM accounts.

I don't think it is turned on now for regular Google, only on the test platform (similar to a website "sandbox" for setups and tests...)

Go to this link Google Experimental Search and then select the experiment. Likely takes at least 24 hours to spider and start working for you...
