How to let a customer know who the person is behind the email ?

I've been a huge advocate of including your photo in your signature since the beginning. Video is another great step to help build the transparency and let customer know who's behind the email. No doubt..society likes "pretty people" and if your look good in a photo..use it to your advantage.

I would refrain from getting too personal, I think there are other avenues you can use and not have to expose too much personal info.

It's going to get really interesting as social pushes forward and the separation of business and personal bleed into each other.

Can you imagine having a Meet the Employees page on your dealer website with a photo, small bio and a link to the sales persons facebook page? What will a dealer do when that sales person leaves and potentially takes all those "customers" away from the dealer? After all they are the dealers customers right? Hummmmm....
