Hello,

I am looking for an inexpensive CRM for a small franchise dealer selling about 80 cars per month. Right now we have VIN Solutions, and it is just too much for our dealership (in price tag, and features). We had Focus by ReyRey prior. The most important aspect is the price tag. I am looking for simplicity with good customer service.

Thanks,

ReyRey Ignite
May not be of value but in our case (pbs DMs) I built our own which replaces DealerSocket

Obviously not a lot of fun to start with but the ongoing cost is very cheap and fit for the dealers is ideal once built. The benefit with PBS was a decent set of api’s to work with getting the DMS data and pushing back in. Reynolds at least a few years back when I dealt with them didn’t play well with others.

At that size you could probably look at DealerSocket Lite alternatives or even something like HubSpot CRM if you don’t need heavy auto-specific tools. A lot of smaller dealers also go with simpler niche CRMs like VinSolutions competitors or “pay per user” setups to keep costs down.

  • The discussion briefly explores DMS compatibility (the dealer uses ReyRey Ignite) and one respondent suggests building a custom solution as a cost-effective long-term option, though no specific CRM product recommendations are provided in the visible replies.
