Doesn't cars.com measure such using geofencing technology with mobile app open in proximity of a dealership?

The Cars.com 'Lot Insights' report shows the folks who are using their phone on lot to use Cars.com (if they have Location Services turned on)

I always shake my head at this report. Not because I don't like it but because we are part of a group and our dealership bucks right up against the another. So I can never really tell how accurate it is.
