Years ago there were some statistics floating around regarding the number of times a consumer was contacted before purchasing. It went something like this:
50% of Salespeople never follow up with a prospect.
25% of Salespeople will make a second contact attempt and stop following up.
10% will make more than three contacts.

.
80% of sales are made on the 5th through 12th contact.
I am asking if anyone has any advanced data that is similar to this, but reasonably current. I want as much detail as possible. The above example is just to give an idea of what I am after.
