PURCHASING MANAGER
NYC-based International Automobile Trading and Export Company, looking to add a full-time Purchasing Manager to our vehicle procurement team to assist with our growth due to increased demand from our international clients.

Job description: Your primary role will be sourcing of new vehicles and developing business opportunities with suppliers nationwide. Typical duties will include:
Location: Midtown Manhattan, with occasional travel in Tri-State area
Desired start: Immediate
Hours: 40+ hours / week
Compensation: Performance based

- Regular communication with new and existing suppliers
- Developing new supplier relationships
- General industry research
- Negotiating and overseeing vehicle purchase transactions
- Arranging vehicle transportation and delivery

Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience in the automotive business, especially within a franchised dealership for premium/luxury makes
- High degree of resourcefulness, ability to improvise and think on your feet
- Ability to work independently, with minimal direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to perform well under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Valid U.S. Driver License (clean driving record preferred)
