Pricing on windows ?

There are many questions to think through with your initial question:

  • What are the advertising legalities of how pricing needs to be shown in your state?
  • Do you want to get ahead of the incoming FTC rules that may trump what your state will allow you to get away with?
  • Does your dealership place a high value on repeat business?
  • Is your sales team strong with pricing objection handling?
  • Does your management team know what your sales team is saying to customers on the lot?

On the last point, a good measure is to count the daily floor ups and then measure whether 80% of those customers are getting into the CRM. This means your management team is aware of how many customers are on the lot and working with your salespeople to get customers to come into the showroom. When you have an addendum sticker on the car, this is a critical point to keep track of.
