My five rules for generating business on DR:
1. My advice, give lots of free advice!
2. Only contact a forum member when they initiate contact first.
3. Interject humor as often as possible.
4. Don't write anything you wouldn't be willing to let the whole world read.
5. Be careful not to burn bridges*.
