QR Codes - In or Out?

My car wash put a upc code on my window under the inspection sticker.

Wouldn't something like that be easier to deal with? Just a sticker and it's still easy to scan?
We went this route for two reasons: 1. The hang tag is what we already have and doesn't require any additional expenditure and 2. The customers ALWAYS look at the hang tag, so we feel it's the best way to ensure that they see it.

Automotive industry professionals debate the practical value of QR codes for dealership use, with most participants skeptical about their effectiveness despite acknowledging potential niche applications.
