it kinda just depends - typically in really small rural markets, there's not that much competition for fixed ops - so dealers could be totally ok with just a single GBP. It's a "the juice isn't worth the squeeze" situation.

But if there's any sort of competition for service and parts, setting up the department GBPs is super important and impactful
Appreciate the feedback. I think there is plenty of competition here, but the size of my service department is going to be a constraint here. A little worried about that.
 
why would the size be a constraint? If you're saying it's small and you can't really increase the number of customers there, then maybe don't set up the separate department... but if there's plenty of competition and you want to grow fixed ops, it's definitely something you should do
