We are a small independent dealer and are making changes slowly trying to grow our business. We have just changed our website, and our website provider gives us access to homenet for uploading and merchandising our photos. We also signed up with Firstlook/Max Digital for there pricing and merchandising value package so we can also upload and do all our merchandising from there? I was wondering if there is any of you out there who have used both tools for uploading photos and merchandising? Thank you all in advance?

We use Firstlook as well but have DealerSpecialties handle our photos. You can upload photos to individual vehicles in Firstlook but you can also click "Bulk Upload" on the main inventory page. Top right of the screen. That'll allow you to upload several photos at once and just choose the vehicle from a drop down menu. Firstlook provides some instructions here: http://www.maxadsystems.com/marketing/howtomaxphotoguide-v4.pdf

✨ AI Highlights

A small independent dealer asks for recommendations on photo uploading and merchandising tools, comparing their current options of Homenet (from their website provider) versus Firstlook/Max Digital. Responders provide practical guidance on using Firstlook's bulk upload feature and suggest alternative platforms like Netlook (better for smaller dealers) and Vauto (which consolidates uploading, merchandising, and pricing in one tool). The key insight is that dealers don't necessarily need multiple tools—consolidating these functions into a single platform may be more efficient for smaller operations.
