Service Technician


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager, Team Leader or ASM/Service Professional. The Service Technician may also be assigned to conduct the pre-delivery service on a new vehicle to assure that it is in excellent working order when it is delivered to a customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Vehicle repairs
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Pre-Delivery Service
  • Providing exceptional customer service
SUCCESS INDICATORS
  • Percentage of vehicles requiring additional work discovered prior to delivery
  • Ability to complete work on time and as requested
  • Whether an individual's work meets or exceeds the dealership's goals for Service Technician efficiency
  • Passing at least one ASE certification test
  • Technical Introduction Course attendance record
  • Survey results show growth in the percentage of customers who believe their vehicle was "fixed right the first time"
  • Ability to perform work according to published procedures and within safety guidelines
  • Non-existent comebacks and/or repeat repairs

Premier Toyota is seeking experienced Service Advisors to join our team! The ASM is the center of communication for all repair activities and the liaison between customers and the dealership.
