Something NO SEO or Web Developer Wants to Talk About!

The problem is the OEM's have the dealerships hands tied behind their back so it is hard to test, with that being said Koons.com did test it and said that they saw a 800% increases in conversion two weeks in and 60 days in it jumped to a 1400% increase in conversion.
I like what you're saying and agree with you. However, I want to point out that there are very few dealerships on that platform for some reason. Ben Hadley is a friend (he lives down the street from me), and I know him to be incredibly aggressive when the blood of opportunity drips in the water. Something is a little off on this one.

Not saying they are fudging the numbers, but if that kind of lead increase is consistent it wouldn't matter how much they charged. Dealers would be lined up to buy it.

With that said, it has been a while since we last hosted Ben on RefreshFriday. It may be time to revisit things!

Correct me if you disagree!

My thanking is the content is going to rank in the search engines, so the more you post the more likely it is that dealerships, SEO's and other web developers will see it!

They then show up!

Web developers and SEO's show up to defend themselves!

If I’m able to defend my position (and sometimes I can’t) then sometimes they’ll go tell a friend or two that believes the same thing and they'll come back and try and gang up, believing the best defense is in the numbers.

This causes an increase in forum members, traffic, and rankings.

Each new post is another place to rank, like throwing another hook in the lake.

Dealers will begin to show up to see what all the fuss is about, if they see content that peaks there interest they will stick around to read more.

And if a post is written in such a way that it creates an emotional connection they will post!

I use to do it a lot many, many, years ago so I don’t know if it’ll still work but I don’t see any reason why it shouldn't!

Do you?

I didn’t believe his numbers!

As a matter of fact he made claims about one website that didn’t hold true as far as load times go, he claimed they were getting load times in something like .1 millisecond.

But that isn’t what Google Lighthouse showed, it showed something like 5 seconds.

However his claims supported what I was saying so I used them.:dance2:

With that being said I do believe page speed will have a huge impact on both rankings and conversions.

How much, I have no idea, only testing it would prove it true or false and testing it requires only improving page speed and since I want to test 100 different things at once, my test wouldn’t be the one to prove it true or false.

The reason you can’t find anything about me online is because I’ve been building shit sites, doing Blackhat SEO, affiliate marketing, showing ads, selling links, and doing all kinds of crap I didn’t enjoy with a group of guys that only cared about money.

I’ve gotten burned out, I want to build something awesome!

And I love cars, so I figured why not...oh and I got screwed over by a motorcycle dealership on a website I built being nice, so I thought might as well expand it, improve it, and figure out a way to make money with it.

:iagree:

Controversial threads generate good conversations. I'm one to roll into a meeting and tell everyone we are going to do this giant outlandish thing or that they're all wrong and watch the fireworks. By the end of the meeting, everyone has had a chance to speak their mind, and we end up working together in the same direction (maybe a totally different direction).

I do know that Ben's website solution is on the pricier side. And there are 500 ways to measure the same stat: "There are lies, then there are damn lies, and then there are stats."

Keep posting! Keep pushing the bar here, @DjSec. I'm glad you found DealerRefresh (y)

My main company is about to start a complete website overhaul, and you've done an excellent job of reminding me of the importance of page speed and SEO.

Don't forget about W3C valid code and ADA compliance! :)

Are you talking about FRIKINtech | Dealership Lead Generation and Enhancement

I’m guessing here but your just using WordPress as the front-end or marketing interface. The heavy lifting like integrating with CRMs, running AI algorithms, or managing real-time data is being done through separate back-end systems or custom APIs?

Might be a good case study for speed, your FCP is a whooping 8 seconds and the LCP is 16.9.

I'm sure everyone would trust your findings since you haven't got a dog in this fight! ;-)

Being curios, but since your already covering many of the core digital engagement and lead-generation functions, do you ever think about expanding your services?
