Suggestions for Website Providers

Reaching out for recommendations for website providers. Have experience with DDC, Dealer Inspire, and Team Velocity. Definitely need OEM approved vendors (Ford, Chevy, Volvo, Toyota). What are your recommendations and why?

Definitely check out DealerAssist (dealerassist.com), we've had a good run with them. We switched over to one of their more modern templates a while back and honestly lead gen and revenue both picked up noticeably after that, way faster than we expected. The drag and drop editing has also been a nice change, we can actually make updates ourselves without waiting on a dev or submitting a ticket for every little thing.

Compared to DDC and Dealer Inspire, the backend just feels less clunky to work in day to day, and their team's been way more open to customizing things instead of forcing a cookie cutter template on us. Team Velocity's marketing tools are solid if that's your focus, but if it's really about the website itself, DealerAssist has worked out better for us.

We use Dealer.com as our website provider and digital retailing platform. Its integrated with our CRM, so leads flow smoothly into VinSolutions, which helps us respond fast. It also keeps the inventory updated automatically, is mobile friendly, and supports SEO so more shoppers actually find our site when they search. I like being able to update banners or highlight specials quickly , because a dealerships website is often the customers first impression. They are also OEM approved as well. I recommend Motive with a caveat. I'm not sure that they're OEM approved with the brands you mentioned...

If you're looking for OEM approved, the best providers have very patchy coverage. Dealer.com and DealerOn have absolutely archaic UIs and are painful to manage your own content. DealerInspire currently is easiest to manage given it's wordpress but word is that's going away.

If you want a more modern site infrastructure you're gonna have patchier coverge, but the better we have seen we would group together in no particular order as follows:

Team MXS - Modern SPA React, expanding OEM coverage. Team MXS | Dealership Website, SEO & Marketing Services
Space Auto - Modern SPA React, expanding OEM coverage. (Definitely the most advanced interoperability we have seen) https://space.auto/
Overfuel - lots of rave reviews and a modern CMS. Good performing sites but no coverage on your OEMs and we have only seen them a few times. Overfuel | #1 in Dealer Websites
Motive - Modern but somewhat rigid designs and good/expanding OE coverage Home | Motive
Team V - Modern but somewhat rigid designs and good/expanding OE coverage (probably the only that covers all your brands) Apollo Sites | Dealer Website Platform | Team Velocity

If you are only chasing OEM approved for Coop, you are jumping over dollars to pick up dimes. Go get a good website and you won't care about the lost coop.

Losing coop funds over non-compliant website means losing all coop funds across the board, and that's pretty significant. would like to hear more of your opinion on this.
