I tell you, tech's get so frustrated so easily. Is it just something that is common in our dealership, or do you guys also notice this? Writing a story of 15 lines, they won't. Referring a TSB in detail, they won't. Checking their manuals for specs, they won't. Having a chat with the service advisor or warranty admins, they won't. Its no surprise how DIVAs they are. I am genuinely worried about the productivity of these guys lately, they are punching so much but are getting so less work done.

I did come across something: www.bayworks.app, has anyone used this recently? They say they are going to increase the tech's productivity? Anyone who has used any such tools before? Or how do you guys make sure your tech's are happy, satisfied and don't churn?

LOL thats a loaded assed question and a post I hope your tech's never have to know about...

If you have DIVA techs that are super frustrated that's wholly a reflection of leadership, relationships and systems.

If techs are with advisors in a system that sells and is organized and tight, and there's relationships that everyone has each others backs INCLUDING having the stores back, then there are no diva's.

If you have a frustrated team, install more software and watch them get even more frustrated. :banana:

If not for software, how do I get them to be more productive. It is hard for me to be aware of every nuance in a dealership, I've hired the top tier people, but still there are functional efficiencies everywhere right?

And what's your take on tools that claim they'll be super good on the technicians, the founders there told me how their only focus is to improve the tech satisfaction, what about using those products? Aren't they the next thing the industry is going to see?
