Does anyone remember the BBS dialups like ARPANET, FIDONET and BITNET. There were hundreds of hosts and some of them would connect to each other a few times each week to exchange chat, email and downloadable files?

Who would ever have thought that email could go from one computer to another in just 48 hours?

I belive it would have been 97 when I was introduced to the Intraweb. I remember my fav search engine was "metacrawler". I think Napster is when the cool kids jumped in.
