Traffic Sources?

Steven: Looks like you put a lot of thought into your analysis; good work.

QUESTION: since you have included results from some paid classifieds, do you have any information on Web traffic derived from non Internet promotion such as print ads, direct mail, etc.. By that I mean; people who have been prompted to go to your Web site because they got a mailer for example.

Paul,

Unfortunately since I was strictly looking at referring host information I do not know how many directly typed the dealer's website address into the URL and how they came in.

✨ AI Highlights

The thread discusses where car dealer websites get their traffic, with stevenc317 sharing analytics data showing Google drives 67% of traffic to small used car dealership sites. A key debate emerges around Craigslist's unexpectedly high referral traffic compared to major platforms like AutoTrader and Cars.com, with tomwhitejr pointing out that while Craigslist sends significant traffic, the quality is poor (high bounce rates and low engagement) compared to other sources.
