:hello: DealerRefresh - I have enjoyed being a quiet part of this community since Jeff and Alex came together. @Alex Snyder is my partner in VehicleLyfe (formerly known as FRIKINtech), and many of you are clients of ours - thank you, by the way. Since Alex is on here so much, you already have a way to connect with us.

VehicleLyfe brings your sales and service data together to make insightful predictions about the people you've already sold to and the customers using your service department, automating messages that turn into leads. Those leads are for trading, selling their car to you, leasing something newer, and buying a warranty or maintenance plan. It also brings more customers back into your service scheduler, and if you have an insurance program, it will entice them to save money on car insurance. If you don't have an insurance program, we can help you get one set up.

VehicleLyfe Complete is regularly $1,699/mo. Until August 31st, I can discount DealerRefresh to $1,499/mo, depending on your DMS. I have a service-only option that can save you even more.

Direct Message me or @Alex Snyder here for a demo. www.vehiclelyfe.com/horizon for more info.

A freebie from us: From Negative Equity to Lifelong Loyalty - VehicleLyfe

It is a guide to keeping customers who are locked in their cars loyal to your dealership. Another way to phrase it is:

Nearly 30% of your database is underwater, and the average amount is over $7,200! How do you be the one who retains them for service and future purchases?

I showed this version of his store to @Jeff Kershner the other day, and he responded: "I have never looked at my DMS like this." It got me thinking that DMS are these silos we stick data into, but don't do much to pull it out. And I don't see many ways to put the silos together: making F&I data work with RO data, for example.

This is an example (real data, but anonymized) of how we are finding ways to activate your DMS data. It begins with bringing "stale" customers back to life.

We made some really cool updates that transform that dark DMS you have sitting in your store into a full-blown intelligence machine primed for making car deals on.

This is a Customer Details Page on steroids! It exists for EVERY customer you have sold or serviced. If it is in your DMS, it is here.

History.png

1. Every vehicle, and where the equity sits
Value, payoff, and equity on the card. Alongside it, the vehicles they've been shopping — with the payment they were quoted and the stock number, so you know whether the unit is even still on the ground.

2. Every dollar they've spent in your store, against what the car is worth
We take the customer's actual spend history in your store — service plus loan payments — chart it against current market value, and project it forward. Where the two cross is the peak.
The example below: $29,772 invested ($1,167 service, $28,604 loan payments), car worth $25,465, payoff $23,195. That customer is past their peak and still has 44 payments left.
I haven't seen another tool put store spend and market value on the same axis. If something out there already does it, I'd honestly like to know — point me at it.

3. Warranty that counts miles, not just dates
Coverage expiring "Mar 2028" is useless if the customer drives 20k a year and the cap is 60k. This watches mileage and tells you when they'll actually run out — which is usually well before the date on the contract.

4. A worklist built from what people actually did
Not a score. Filters on observed behavior — ran a payment comparison, used the trade tool, browsed inventory, looked at warranty, scheduled service — plus what they own and what they're shopping for.

5. And a plain-English read on each one

"11 quote configurations. They're calculating whether a move is affordable." A sentence a salesperson can act on. In this example, it is all about sales, but this entire Customer Details Page works for Sales, F&I, and Service. We have deleted the line in the sand between departments.

✨ AI Highlights

VehicleLyfe (formerly FRIKINtech) is a software platform that integrates sales and service data to identify opportunities for customer retention and upselling—such as trade-ins, lease upgrades, warranties, and service appointments—by automating targeted messaging to existing customers. The company highlights a key pain point: dealership DMS systems operate as isolated silos, and the platform addresses this by connecting F&I and service data to activate leads from "stale" customers, with a specific focus on retaining the ~30% of customers with negative equity (averaging $7,200 underwater). The underlying insight is that most dealers aren't effectively extracting or cross-referencing data they already have in their systems.
